DESCRIPTION:he City of Rockwall will host a forum for candidates running for Rockwall City Council on Thursday\, March 23\, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at The Center\, 108 E. Washington Street (south of the downtown square). Judge Brian Williams will serve as the moderator of the candidate forum. The candidate forum is open to the public. The General Election will be held on May 6\, 2017 for the purpose of electing the Mayor and three City Councilmembers - one each for Places 1\, 3 and 5. Terms for Rockwall City Councilmembers are for a period of two years.
