SUMMARY:East Trinity Masonic Lodge Scholarship Golf Classic
DESCRIPTION:Education has always been of utmost importance to the Freemasons of Rockwall County.  From building Rockwall's first school in 1855 to handing out dental kits to first graders each year\, the members of East Trinity Masonic Lodge strive to support future generations of our community.  We started a Scholarship Fund in 1988 to award scholarships to our area high school graduates.  Since that time\, we have awarded more than 160 totaling more than $250\,000.  Since 2012\, our primary source of funding has been our Annual Scholarship Golf Classic but due to Covid\, we suspended our tournament in 2020.  Despite not having a tournament for three years\, our members were committed to maintaining our recent scholarship levels.  During the last three years we awarded 18 scholarships totaling $54\,000.  Realizing that this internal funding is not sustainable\, we are optimistic that through the revival of our tournament and the generous support of community leaders like yourself\, we will continue to assist the young men and women of Rockwall County.
