DESCRIPTION:Life is complicated. Life is noisy. Life is chaotic.\n\nLife is beautiful. Life is fun. Life is a series of moments that sometimes link to moments past and future\, yet sometimes they stand alone.\n\nLife makes me smile\, sometimes while fighting back the tears\; sometimes in hysterical laughter.\n\n\n\nJust as humankind continues to evolve\, so do we\, the "she"-version of humankind. In my almost 50 years\, I have experienced the moments that knocked me to my knees in quicksand\; I have experienced the moments of unsurpassed joy. None of these moments are secret or locked away\; rather\, each of these moments has contributed to the woman I am today. I look forward to sharing these moments with you.\n\n\n\nDon't get me wrong   I am still evolving. Yet in each of these significant moments and the many moments in between\, I discovered the SHE in me.\n\nSHE who is a vessel of Strength\n\nSHE who tries to lead a life of good physical\, mental and relational Health\n\nSHE who exudes the very Essence of an ordinary woman\, sans the layers\n\n\n\nWe hope you will join us on April 27th to meet Darlene Ellison and hear a bit about her story\, her journey and her evolution as a woman in this crazy world. Darlene is an accomplished businesswoman\, wife and mother of two millennials\, as well as a transparent woman who shares her stories weekly in her blog\, Evolution of SHE.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\n\n\nA Dallas Native\, Darlene Ellison has over 25 years of experience in the combined fields of child psychology and business as well as serving as an avid community volunteer. As an author and proponent of the prevention of child sexual abuse\, Darlene has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show\, 20/20 and Dateline NBC\, as well as in Dallas' D Magazine. Years as a Development Consultant as well as her 10- year role as Senior Vice President/Community Development Executive for Veritex Community Bank in Dallas\, have allowed her to create a unique business development strategic plan that focuses on niche positioning and high touch customer service. She is also the founder and coordinator of three award-winning community Women In Business organizations that help women business owners and executives gain personal and professional growth.
