DESCRIPTION:ROCKWALL   The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will hold a public meeting next week on proposed improvements to FM 549 from SH 205 to SH 276 in Rockwall County. \n\nThe public meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m.\, Tuesday\, June 26\, at Rockwall County Courthouse\, 1111 East Yellow Jacket Lane\, Rockwall\, TX 75087.\n\n \n\nThe meeting will have an open house format\, with no formal presentation. Representatives from TxDOT and project consultants will be available to answer questions about the proposed improvements. \n\n \n\nThe proposed project would widen 2.08 miles of FM 549 to a four-lane divided roadway. In addition to widening\, the project will create a new segment of FM 549 extending from south of FM 1139 to SH 205.  Maps showing the proposed project's location and geometric design will be available for viewing at the public meeting.
