Memorial Day Concert and Family Fun Day - under the big tent at Rest Haven Memorial Park's Celebration Field.  Beginning with a patriotic tribute to our veterans, this event will again feature the ever-popular Levee Singers in a toe-tapping, sing along, dance-in-the-aisles concert that will delight all ages.  After the concert, there will be hot dogs on the grill, Blue Bell ice cream, and fun activities for the kids.  Fishing enthusiasts of all ages are invited to bring their fishing poles and tackle to enjoy catch-and-release fishing from the banks of the well-stocked pond.  The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be present at the event, and donors can register at www.redcrossblood.org using the sponsor keyword: resthaven.  The entire community is invited.  Seating will be available, but lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged.
