Memorial Day Concert and Family Fun Day - under the big tent at Rest Haven Memorial Park's Celebration Field.  Beginning with a patriotic tribute to our veterans, this event will feature the ever-popular Levee Singers in a toe-tapping, sing along, dance-in-the-aisles concert that will delight all ages.  After the concert, there will be hot dogs on the grill, Blue Bell ice cream, a bike/trike parade, and other fun activities.  Fishing enthusiasts of all ages are invited to bring their fishing poles and tackle to enjoy catch-and-release fishing from the banks of the well-stocked pond.  The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be present at the event, and donors can register at www.redcrossblood.org using the sponsor keyword: resthaven.  The entire community is invited.  Seating will be available, but lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged.
