The traveling exhibit of rarely seen photographs of Quanah and Cynthia Ann Parker will be on display and will be enhanced by displays of Rockwall County artists.
Opening Reception: Sunday, August 19th, 4-6 pm. Meet local historian Garvin Tate, Western artists Doug Agee, Susan Varner, Jim Bryant, and storyteller with Native American flutes Richard Nash.
Historian Garvin Tate will also present additional information about Quanah Parker at the Stodghill Lecture Series on Sept. 14 at noon in the historic, downtown Courthouse in the 3rd floor courtroom. The lecture is free and open to the public.
