Bartender Wanted – Join the Team at Beer Me! (Downtown Fate)

Beer Me! isn’t your typical bar—and we’re not looking for a typical bartender.

We’re a community-driven taproom and wine bar in the heart of Downtown Fate, a place built for fun, family, and community. Whether it’s parents enjoying a night out, friends catching up over a flight, or kids drinking root beer and playing games, we’ve created a space where everyone feels welcome.

Now we’re looking to add the right person to our team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Pouring and serving 16 rotating taps of craft beer, plus wine by the glass and bottle
• Helping guests navigate our selection (from Texas craft to classics like Michelob Ultra)
• Creating a welcoming, high-energy environment for everyone who walks in
• Running tabs, handling transactions, and keeping things organized behind the bar
• Maintaining cleanliness and flow during both chill nights and packed events
• Supporting events like trivia, music bingo, karaoke, tastings, and live music
• Stocking, rotating, and staying on top of our mix-and-match to-go cooler

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who genuinely enjoys people (this is non-negotiable)
• Strong customer service mindset—you know how to read a room and take care of guests
• Ability to move with urgency when it’s busy and stay present when it’s not
• Willingness to learn beer and wine (you don’t have to know everything—we’ll help you get there)
• Team player who shows up, steps up, and takes pride in what we’re building
• Availability for evenings and weekends

Compensation & Hours:

• $12/hour base pay
• Tips averaging an additional $7–$11/hour
• Typical schedule: 15–25 hours per week (may vary based on events and seasonality)

Bonus Points If You:

• Have bartending or service industry experience
• Know your way around craft beer styles or are excited to learn
• Can bring personality, energy, and maybe even a few playlist recommendations
