About Us

Our in-home care services help adults live with dignity and independence in Rockwall, Rowlett, Sachse, and Northeast Garland. At FirstLight Home Care of Rockwall, we believe your loved one deserves more than basic assistance. They deserve a caregiver who is passionate about helping them have their best day, every day. Our care goes beyond meals and mobility to focus on meaningful relationships built on trust, respect, and compassion.

FirstLight Home Care of Rockwall is owned by husband-and-wife team Shahroze Youhanna and Snow Nguyen, who are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. Shahroze, a University of North Texas graduate with a background in finance and accounting, previously worked as an appraiser for nine years. His passion for caregiving comes from caring for his father through cancer and hospice and supporting his grandmother through dementia and stroke. He is also actively involved in serving his church community in Garland, Texas.

Snow earned degrees in biology and math from Southern Methodist University and a physician assistant degree from Bethel University. She currently works as a neurosurgery physician assistant in Dallas. Prior to her medical career, Snow worked as a caregiver for spinal cord injury patients and cared for her grandmother during dialysis and hospice care.

Together, Shahroze and Snow are honored to serve families through FirstLight Home Care, guided by empathy, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of every individual they serve.
