About Us

Entering into a new chapter of motherhood requires a support system. The founder of Obtaining New Ground and her team of volunteers help young mothers overcome the many obstacles and barriers they may obtain when faced with unplanned pregnancy. Eliminating the current ongoing homelessness in the DFW area of pregnant teenage mothers, while providing education and the necessary life long resources they need is our mission.

At Obtaining New Ground, we provide young women with confidence and resources by teaching them to gain a level of independence and self-sufficiency, creating financial stability in order to provide for themselves and their children.

Today, Obtaining New Ground operates as an independent 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization
