-I'm a husband and proud father of three.  My oldest attends Texas Christian University and my boys are at RHS where they both wrestle, John plays trumpet in the band, and Luke is on the World Championship Qualifying Full Metal Jackets Robotics team 1296.  It was been a highlight of mine to coach them as they grew up, wrestling, baseball, pop warner football.  
-My wife, Amy, grew up in Mesquite (Poteet HS) and her family all lives in Rockwall now.  We met at Harpoon Harry's in Panama City, FL while on Spring Break '98.  She was earning her Marketing and Management degree at Texas A&M and I was earning my Economics degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.  She shared and sacrificed through my Army 21-year Army career, so when I retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, we came to Rockwall to be near her family.

I grew my company from two to 55 employees over 15 years, learning hard lessons along the way. I teach the tools and processes we used to save our business before ultimately selling to our biggest competitor.

As a retired vet, I am able to fulfill my "call to duty" by being the Executive Director and President of Patriot Sporting Challenge, a 501(c)3 all-volunteer charitable organization. Our mission is to conduct fun-filled sporting activities to benefit the families of killed or wounded military veterans and first responders. Once a year we hold a combination golfing and fishing event on Lake Fork and The Links at Land's End golf course, followed by an afternoon and evening of casino games, food, and live entertainment. Because of the successful past 4 events, we have already donated over $400,000 to the Folds of Honor, a national organization awarding scholarships to the legacies of killed or wounded soldiers and first responders. 

Jim Walker served in the U.S. Army (Infantry) and financed his education at the University of Texas School of Law (graduating with honors) through the GI Bill and academic scholarships.  In 2022 at the Texas Supreme Court, Jim's opposing counsel - the former Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court could not stop Jim, who says this: “Auto insurance is mandatory, giving the billion-dollar insurance industry a captive client base. But those same insurance companies train their indifferent bureaucrats to dismiss injured Texans who turn to them for reasonable compensation, low-balling regular folks so they can drive up profits.” Jim has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
