I love Rockwall; the Downtown, the Harbor and food scene are blessings, but the people make this place home. Working with local non-profits like Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels Senior Services and Kiwanis Club connects me with great volunteers and those in need. I enjoy working with the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, the City of Rockwall and the Downtown Rockwall Association to help our community keep its small, family friendly atmosphere alive. My wife Marinda and three kids love the Texas sunshine and southern hospitality. After college, I went to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin to finish my formal eight years of training to become a pastor. I graduated WLS in May 2016 with a Master of Divinity degree and was assigned to Divine Peace Church Rockwall.

As a Community Liaison for Comfort Keepers Home Care, I’m passionate about connecting seniors and their families with compassionate, personalized care that helps them thrive at home. With a focus on building strong partnerships, I work closely with Military Veterans Organizations, community organizations, healthcare professionals, social workers, private duty nurses, and hospice companies to ensure every senior has access to the in-home support they deserve.
 

I’m Julee Odom, the Sales and Marketing Director for the Estate Transition Agency, a family-owned company dedicated to helping seniors and families navigate major life transitions. With a passion for connecting people with the right solutions, I focus on building relationships, spreading awareness about our services, and ensuring our clients feel supported every step of the way. From downsizing and estate sales to complete move management, our team takes care of every detail from start to finish. My goal is to make the transition process as smooth and stress-free as possible, providing compassionate guidance and expert resources to help families move forward with confidence.

We're thrilled to be here in Rockwall! My wife, Abby, and I moved to this wonderful community on October 4, 2024, right after we got married. I'm a Christian Estate Planning Attorney, eager to serve the needs of Rockwall residents. Abby has been a familiar face in the area for years, teaching ballet for seven years and third grade for two. Rockwall has truly proven to be an ideal spot for us to raise a family and establish my practice. We're grateful to have found a welcoming home at Lakepointe Church, and we're so excited to see God's plans for us unfold as we become more deeply rooted in the community.

Shahroze Youhanna is the owner of FirstLight Home Care of Rockwall and is deeply committed to serving others with compassion and integrity. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in finance and accounting, Shahroze spent nine years working as an appraiser with the Dallas Central Appraisal District. His passion for caregiving was shaped by personal experience, including caring for his father through multiple myeloma and hospice care, as well as supporting his grandmother through dementia and a stroke. These experiences instilled in him a strong belief in dignity, respect, and empathy in caregiving. God-driven and family-oriented, Shahroze is actively involved in serving his church community in Garland, Texas. Through FirstLight Home Care, he is dedicated to helping individuals live safely and independently at home while providing families with peace of mind through trusted, high-quality care.

Maya is the founder of Freshly Clean. She started out cleaning for family and friends throughout her community and takes pride in cleaning homes. Life gets busy, between balancing motherhood, activities, and everything else and to still maintain a clean house is quite challenging. Maya loves helping others to give them the freedom they deserve to spend more family time and activities they enjoy instead of cleaning on weekends or days off. With the support of friends and family, their honest feedback and word-of-mouth she saw the demand for other people needing the same service. She is driven and passionate to keep moving forward in this journey.

Hey there! My name is Kyle Tatum and I am the Business Development Officer for HomeBank TX, right here in Rockwall. My family and I have lived in Rockwall for 12 years now and I am excited to continue to serve this community through our already vibrant Chamber of Commerce. The Rockwall community has been a fantastic place to start and grow my family and we look forward to giving back to that community that has given so much to us. I have loved integrating into the Chamber of Commerce and utilizing its resources to build new relationships in the area, and if we haven't met yet, we should! 

Jerry Welch is a REALTOR® with Ebby Halliday in Rockwall, where he has lived since 2013 with his wife of 51+ years, Nicki. They moved from Plano to be near their grandchildren, Brady and Landry, and love being actively involved in their lives.

Jerry is deeply committed to community service. He graduated from Leadership Rockwall (Class of 2016 – Best Class Ever) and participated in the Rockwall Citizens Police and Fire Academies. He served six years on the Planning & Zoning Commission, chairing the City's Comprehensive Plan. He has also been on the Advisory Board of Women in Need.

Currently, Jerry serves on the boards of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, Rockwall Noon Rotary, and as President of the Rockwall County Rainbow Room. He also volunteers as a Life Group substitute teacher at Lake Pointe Church, always striving to serve God and his community.

Need to enroll in Medicare coverage?  I help to folks who are confused about their Medicare decisions. As an independent licensed insurance broker, I educate many on their options and then enroll them into a plan that fits their situation.  I'm Carol Otto, MEDICARE COACH CAROL.

My family has called Rockwall home since 1996 (by way of Oklahoma) and I love my hometown!  I am an active member of Aspasians where we raise thousands of dollars every year to give back to Rockwall County HS Seniors.  I started Villa Teresa in 2018 after a personal experience of losing my grandma to pancreatic cancer and have been on a mission to bring a home to Rockwall that is dedicated to taking care of the dying and their families.  It will be a first for all of North Texas!
