About Us

Rick owns Filip Insurance Services with over 43 years of business consulting experience. In addition to owning his own business, he has helped many individuals and businesses with workable strategies and sound solutions.

Rick received his MBA from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in marketing and information systems. He received his BS in Business Administration from Valparaiso University in Indiana, concentrating on management and finance.

Rick is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), a member of The National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA - Dallas), and National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU/DAHU).

A leader in many organizations, Rick has served on Board of Directors of the following organizations:
Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce
Rockwall County Helping Hands
NAIFA-Dallas (The National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors)
Chandler’s Landing Yacht Club
Rick has also been a member of the Rockwall Rotary Noon Club and has served multiple terms on the session of his church. Rick has also been active on the finance committee for the church for many years.

Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce named Filip Insurance Services Small Business of the Year - 2007.
Rockwall Area Chamber named Rick Filip Chamber Director of the Year - 2010.
